Corporate Carbon Lobby is believed to spend more than 1 billion dollar in lobbying to ensure that no real action would be taken to lower carbon burning and production of green house gases. The lobbyist must be jubiliant after failed Copenhagen talks where Governments failed to make any serious committments and allocation of funds.

They also regularly ridicule environmentalists in mainstream media and show them as crazy scientists who have gone mad with climate fever.

China and India had told richer nations to combat climate change and only fair burden should be placed on under developed countries as the bigger chunk of climate atrocities belong to developed countries.

Global warming which first led to UN framework Convention on Climate Change and then Kyoto Protocols both have not been successful to cut down considerable amount of green house gases. It seems that Clean Development Mechanism is still a distant dream which can really help curb global warming
