A Briefer History of Time

A briefer history of time is an update version of the earlier book A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking with Leaonard Mladinow. A Brief history of time was best seller for 237 weeks on the London Sunday Times and it was a miraculous success for a book that was written to deal with one of the most challenging and abstract issues in modern physics.

A Briefer History of Time is briefer than the first book and some of the technical discussion has been left out for the sake of readability and briefness. It deals with the recent progress in String Theory , Unified theory or Theory of Everything. It also includes observations made by COBE(Cosmic Background Explore Satellite) and Hubble Telescope.

The book starts with the discussion of Universe, its expansion, scientific theories about universe, Newton’s Universe, Relativity, curved spaces, expanding universe, big bang, black holes, evolution of the Universe, Quantum gravity, worm holes and Time travel, force of nature and the unification of physics.
